Video Production

To be honest, the goal was always to become an Oscar-winning movie star. But when I was growing up, Asians weren’t exactly getting a lot of screen time, and if they were, it was for stereotypical roles. So I decided if Hollywood wants me, they’ll come knocking.

I studied video production in college and was told I’d make an amazing editor. I thanked my professor and told him my soul would die trapped in a dark room alone. Eventually, I taught English in Japan and traveled the world making videos for my students in hopes they’d understand the importance of English.

When I returned home, my new goal was to continue traveling the world making films with my friends. Magically, that’s when I met my husband, Bryan, who happens to be a kick a$$ editor man. We combined our powers and talents to create 88spire, which is celebrating its 8th year in 2025. I have happily worn almost every hat in this industry, and my favorites are Creative Director and Storyteller.

Due to health reasons and choice, I have pulled back from my roles within the company. However, when my health allows it, I rise to the occasion for select projects.
